Talhah Yunus
Talhah Yunus is one half of Young Stunners, the Karachi hip-hop duo widely credited with pioneering Urdu rap in Pakistan and one of the country’s most-streamed acts – their catalogue includes the PSL6 anthem “Groove Mera” and a run of releases that helped bring Urdu hip-hop into the mainstream. “Fancy,” produced by longtime collaborator Jokhay, comes from Yunus’s Shikwa (Side A) release. For the official music video, Scarlet Production handled the full Thailand shoot from start to finish.
For an artist with Yunus’s profile, the visual bar is high – the video needed a look that stood apart from what’s achievable shooting in Pakistan alone. Thailand offered the locations and production infrastructure to deliver that, without the usual friction of coordinating a shoot from abroad.
A detail that sets Scarlet apart on Pakistani productions: the producer on set speaks Urdu. Direction, feedback, and on-the-fly decisions during the shoot happened in a shared language – no translation layer between the creative vision and what actually got executed on set.
A fully produced music video for one of Pakistan’s most recognized hip-hop artists – delivered by a Thailand-based team built to make an international shoot feel like a local one.
